Violent aggression | Rapper “VT” Arrested Again

Yahia Mouhime, better known by the stage name “VT”, will not have spent much time in freedom. The young member of a gang from Saint-Léonard, released from prison since last March, was arrested in connection with a violent assault that was allegedly committed last week.


Yahya Mouhime faces three counts: robbery, assault with a weapon and causing bodily harm.

He was arrested Thursday morning in connection with the event that occurred last Friday at Le Garage bar in Mirabel. According to our information, Mouhime allegedly stabbed a man in the establishment. He was then with several other suspects, say our sources. None of them have been charged. Mouhime was reportedly filmed by the institution’s surveillance cameras, which would have allowed his arrest.

The 21-year-old suspect nicknamed “VT” is part of a Saint-Léonard street gang named Everybody Gets Killed (EGK), according to our information. He also recently presented himself as a member of the Profit Boyz, a criminal group from Rivière-des-Prairies.

In parallel with this arrest by the Mirabel police, the Multisectoral Team Dedicated to Firearms (EMAF) in Northeast Montreal specializing in the fight against narcotics and firearms is currently conducting an investigation into “VT” and his acolytes. .

Crown prosecutor M.e Steve Baribeau opposed the release of the suspect. He is due back in court next Tuesday.

Yahya Mouhime has just been released from prison. The rapper was sentenced to three years in prison in March 2022 after pleading guilty to possession of a prohibited device and possession of a prohibited firearm charges.
