In recent years, vinyl has become an increasingly popular object for music lovers. Faced with soaring prices, some are trying to keep reason.
For the past ten years, 45s and 33s have aroused more and more intense enthusiasm, with enthusiasts ready to search relentlessly, and everywhere, for the coveted object. But the other side of the phenomenon is soaring prices. Some artists are particularly sought after, enough to panic the market a little: up to 1.5 million euros for the record price.
Fight against exorbitant prices
A madness against which the POP station association fights, at the origin of events. “On our stand, we have from 50 cents the small discs, one euro the large discs. Then we can go up to five or ten euros, but we try to stay really consistent, so that everyone can find each other in a way.”, explains Ken, president of POP. And the interest does not seem to diminish. More and more record companies are releasing vinyl.
