Vincent Niclo has already had the opportunity in his career to sing in holy places, but this is the first time he will perform at the Basilica of Lisieux. He has adapted his repertoire for the place, and he will be accompanied by a piano, a violin, a cello and two singers.
A recital mainly focused on voices and acoustic music, to let the voice come into its own in the Basilica, which has a particular resonance that is very different from a traditional performance hall.
On the menu, sacred songs such as Ave Maria, but also titles from the Vincent Niclo repertoire created with the complicity of Serge Lama or Pascal Obispo. Note a magnificent cover of “Since you leave” by Jean-Jacques Goldman.
