Vincent Niclo announces the death of the man of his life

He passed away on November 4, 2023, and his famous son took a while to announce it to his fans… Vincent Niclo has been facing impossible grief since the death of his father: Claude. This November 12, 2023, the singer who notably sang a duet with Laëtitia Milot, for “Far from here” wrote a letter to his dad. He explained to her that she was going to miss him and that life would never be the same without him.

His father was a complete artist

Like him, he was a “accomplished artist. Sometimes accordionist, saxophonist, drummer and above all a magnificent singer and performer”, explains his son. And to share a photo of his young years, when at 18, he was “in the recording studio” and had just signed his first artist contract with Barclay.

To those who have managed to make a living from their passion, Vincent Niclo confided: “Throughout my journey, Dad, I tried to be like you, to make you proud, to implement everything you had instilled in me.
I hope I got there… It was you who showed me the way and for that I will be forever grateful.”

And to add: “You always told me: ‘Whatever happens, big guy, I don’t want you to give up, neither in your life, nor in your job’. So believe me Dad, I’m going to do everything to continue to make your name shine and make yourself proud.”

“It’s like my heart has been ripped out…”

This is a new loss for the 48-year-old singer, who also lost other mentors like a certain Franck, as well as Thierry Dran. Today it’s his dad who’s leaving, “it’s as if my heart was ripped out…” reveals Vincent Niclo, who promised to hold on, and who concluded: “I love you forever. Your son.”
