The initial leak occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on Saturday morning, at the corner of Esplanade and Jarry streets, just across from Jarry Park.

According to our information, the leak would have been caused by a pipe of about ten inches which would have been damaged by the strong pressure exerted by the water.
