(Montreal) Filming of the biographical film about the late racing driver Gilles Villeneuve began yesterday.
Filming of the winter scenes is scheduled to continue until March 2 in the towns of Valcourt, Saint-Rémi and Joliette. Summer scenes will be filmed in summer and fall 2024.
The film, a Canada-France production, is directed and co-written by Daniel Roby.
Rémi Goulet plays the role of Gilles Villeneuve and Rosalie Bonenfant plays the character of his wife, Joann Villeneuve.
