For the second consecutive year, the MMFA will run Le vélo des beaux-arts in these parks, “whose case is overflowing with artistic material,” he announced in a press release on Monday. On site, children of all ages will be able to “enjoy the pleasures of artistic creation in a relaxed atmosphere”.
“Children and adults will be inspired by the surrounding nature and the colorful landscapes of the artist Nicolas Party – to whom the MMFA is currently devoting an exhibition – to create a print or a watercolor. They will thus be able to familiarize themselves with one of these artistic techniques, which they will then be able to reproduce at home”, can we also read.
Offered free of charge, these outdoor workshops will be held at Paul-Dozois, des Royaux, Jos-Montferrand and Félix-Antoine-Savard parks starting July 2.
