From Friday, there will be 7 people from Isère to wear the colors of our department in Beijing for the 2022 Winter Olympics. The opportunity for Ophélie David to come back to the values of these games.

These Beijing Games are at the center of many debates. “The athletes who participate in it have to face major crises which are also shaking the world”, underlines our multi-medal champion in the introduction of her Isère Carte Blanche. Health crisis of course, political crisis as well, but also ecological crisis.
Snowing up a site that naturally has no snow! Successful challenge but with a very strong imprint on nature since it is nearly 185 million liters of water projected, i.e. the annual consumption of 6,000 people… in short, not very eco-friendly!
From Isère to Beijing
