The four fifties imagined by Jacques Davidts bow out with this third and final season in which they will face several challenges, including shared accommodation. Indeed, by a combination of circumstances, Christian (Christian Bégin) must simultaneously accommodate Simon (Alexis Martin), Martin (Normand Daneau) and Étienne (Yanic Truesdale). According to Truesdale, the comedy directed by Ricardo Trogi will reach a new high. “It’s very, very funny, but at the same time, it touches on very realistic themes,” the actor recently told us.

After a half-fig, half-grape second season, author Frédéric Ouellet’s crime thriller (Victor Lessard, The survivors) is back in service, as is detective sergeant Céline Trudeau, portrayed with panache by Isabel Richer. This time, the heroine leads a most intimate quest: to find out who brutally murdered her cousin, 30 years earlier. For this last lap, the production was entrusted to Daniel Roby (Louis Cyr, Funkytown). Daniel Parent, Sébastien Ricard, Debbie Lynch-White and Jade Charbonneau join the cast.

New season, new decade and new cast for the excellent British series, which depicts the reign of Elizabeth II. This time, we dwell on the 1990s, a turbulent period not only for the occupant of the throne, camped by Imelda Staunton (Downton Abbey, Harry Potter), but also for his son, Prince Charles (Dominic West) and Diana (Elizabeth Debicki), each of whose gestures make headlines in the United Kingdom. The trailer portends 10 episodes of high drama.

Written and directed by Hugo Blick (The honorable woman), this epic western-style series tells the story of a British aristocrat (Emily Blunt) who arrives in the Wild West of the United States in 1890 to avenge the death of her son. There she meets a former cavalry scout (Chaske Spencer), from the Pawnee people, with whom she unwittingly shares roots. The trailer points to some particularly gory drama.

In the footsteps of Santa Claus: the series | November 16 | Disney+

The movie franchise Santa Claus with Tim Allen goes from the big screen to the small with this six-episode series produced by Jack Burditt, the man behind hits like Modern Family, 30 Rock, Frasier and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Allen reprises his role as Scott Calvin who, 30 years after inheriting the job of Santa Claus, discovers there is a way to retire. It was then that he began to search for a worthy successor…

Wednesday | November 23 | netflix

Has the Addams Family always fascinated you? You will certainly find what you are looking for in this series directed by Tim Burton which, as its title suggests, revolves around the character of Wednesday, the eldest daughter of the clan, as she joins the ranks of the Nevermore Academy, where she tries to control her powers of clairvoyance, thwart a series of murders and solve a 25-year-old mystery. Note that Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday at the cinema in 1991 and 1993, will appear in the credits of the show, but not in the title role, which is provided by actress Jenna Ortega.

Based on When Heroes Fly, An Israeli TV series created by Omri Givon, this 10-episode action thriller set in South America tells the story of a young scientist named Amber (Jessica Ann Collins) who disappears on the Colombian-Venezuelan border. His departure upsets his brother, Bambi (Luke Evans) and her husband, Prince (Michiel Huisman), two ex-army fighters, who absolutely want to find his trace. A creation of Mark Boal, a journalist, writer and producer who won two Oscars for The Hurt Locker.

Completely high school | November 23 | crave

After winning an award at the Canneseries festival, this parody of English-language teen series poorly dubbed in French (think Scott Brothers, Newport Beach and others Degrassi) returns transformed. Forget the preferred short format last year. This autumn, Completely high school becomes a comedy series of 10 30-minute episodes. According to information disclosed by Bell Media, Rosalie Vaillancourt (crowned best actress for a series of digital media at the last Gémeaux awards), Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais, Patrick Emmanuel Abellard and Katherine Levac will resume their roles.

We’ve been hearing about it for so long, and here it is, this first series directed by Xavier Dolan. This is an adaptation of a play by Michel Marc Bouchard. Bringing together an impressive cast made up of Julie Le Breton, Magalie Lépine-Blondeau, Patrick Hivon and Éric Bruneau, it tells the story of a thanatologist who returns to her family to embalm her mother, 30 years after having left her at the end of a terrible incident. We are talking about a large-scale series which will also be presented in France on Canal+.

The new head of Noovo, Marie-Christine Bergeron, teams up with Maryse St-Germain, a private detective, to try to solve a disappearance that no one seems to have heard of, that of Patricia Ferguson, a young woman who disappeared without a trace in 1996.
