Videotron is adding countries where its customers with a Canada-International plan can use their mobile phone without worrying about roaming charges.
The company says it is adding 45 destinations where customers with a Canada-International plan can now use their phone.
This increase brings the total number of international destinations included in the package to 66.
Videotron says Canada-International plan subscribers can now use their mobile service in Australia, Japan, India, Vietnam, Sweden, Iceland and other countries without worrying about roaming charges.
This announcement comes as the Quebec company works to develop its wireless activities.
Videotron also owns the Freedom Mobile banner.
