For the police, it all begins in Créteil, near Paris, in 2020. That morning, Marie-Hélène Dini, coaching trainer, was late to leave for work. “If I had been on time, I might not be here anymore,” she confides, still in shock. This uneventful mother could have escaped execution.
Questioned by the strange behavior of the occupants of a black Clio (their faces are hidden, one of them is wearing gloves in the middle of July) a local resident informed the police. She will discover a false license plate and a loaded firearm. In the car, two soldiers from the DGSE, the French secret services, visibly ready to eliminate the woman they consider to be an agent of the Mossad, the Israeli secret services… and who has never set foot in Israel. This is the start of an investigation that will shake the world of intelligence.
A settling of scores that takes advantage of a Masonic network
Behind this improbable operation lies in reality a settling of scores, which would have been initiated by a man who has nothing to do with the DGSE: Jean-Luc Bagur, 63 years old. This former mechanic has become a coaching school boss obsessed with his market share. By claiming to regulate the profession, a new union could undermine them… Its general secretary is none other than Marie-Hélène Dini. What trigger in Jean-Luc Bagur the desire to eliminate it?
Jean-Luc Bagur would have taken advantage of the relationships he forged in a secret universe: that of Freemasonry. A world with its rites and its “brothers” whose goal is the progress of humanity, but also a place of network that its opacity makes prone to excesses. It is in the lodge he frequents, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, that he will meet his alleged accomplices: the Athanor lodge.
The businessman would have confided his professional concerns to one of his “brothers” masons: Frédéric Vaglio, 48 years old, who shares his passion for firearms and success. His private security company offers business leaders protection and intelligence missions. “Within the scope of its capabilities“, could he do something for him? asks Jean-Luc Bagur.
Assassination project on account
Frédéric Vaglio, whom a former employee describes as ready to cross red lines (organize a kidnapping, for example), then allegedly offered to have Marie-Hélène Dini removed for 70,000 euros. He would even have officially invoiced this service to Jean-Luc Bagur’s coaching school. A contract for an assassination on account…
Assassination project on account
– – (ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATION / FRANCE 2)
To carry out the dirty work, Frédéric Vaglio would have called on another lodge brother: a former police officer from the DCRI (Central Directorate of Internal Intelligence). “A nice, honest, straight guy“, according to one of his former colleagues, but who would have needed money to manage a double life… Daniel Beaulieu would have gone to the dark side by becoming the third man of the Athanor trio: the ex-secret agent in charge to recruit henchmen. All three are today indicted for attempted murder by an organized gang. Their lawyers did not wish to speak in “Additional investigation”.
The trade unionist targeted by a “homicidal contract” testifies
The small crime firm would have even paid for its services outside Paris. In the “Plastic Valley” of Ain, a mechanic from the Apnyl factory unknowingly found himself with a contract on his head. Hassan, a member of the CGT and a model employee, is today devastated after discovering that he was being followed. And that it was planned to get rid of him in the river near his house… This is the first time he has testified on television.
Would his boss have tried to suppress him? When she met Frédéric Vaglio, she confided her concerns to him: she discovered in the newspaper the photo of Hassan demonstrating in the middle of “yellow vests”. Was she afraid that he would trigger a social movement in his factory? Did Frédéric Vaglio maintain his fears? He would have offered her the same radical solution as for Marie-Hélène Dini: the elimination of Hassan for 75,000 euros. A deal she would have accepted.
Frédéric Vaglio would have called on Daniel Beaulieu again. The former DCRI agent allegedly recruited a henchman: Sébastien, 29, who prepared the assassination for 7,500 euros. It was he who followed all the movements of Hassan, his wife and even his children by car. He also filmed the location on the river where he allegedly planned to drop off.the packet“, as he writes in his notes: the body of the trade unionist. The Athanor network was dismantled before…
The most surprising thing about the journey of the “henchman” is that this holder of a BTS in laboratory work would have fallen into crime while thinking of serving France… Sébastien dreamed of becoming a secret agent; Daniel Beaulieu, who was seeking to recruit to increase the number of “homo” contracts (homicides, in intelligence jargon) would have exploited the flaws of the man who wrote in his diary: “I feel like I’m made for this. It’s a strange feeling, earning money to beat someone.”
DGSE orderlies who think they are James Bond
Sébastien would have achieved the feat of recruiting two real soldiers on one of the most secret bases of the DGSE, in Cercottes, near Orléans. In the “action” department, the elite who track down France’s enemies abroad, Dagomar and Adélard (their code names) are simple guards. “They thought they were James Bond, maybe they had frustrations,” smiles a veteran of the service.
Sébastien would have offered Dagomar 15,000 euros for a homicidal contract “in the name of France” targeting coach Marie-Hélène Dini. Could the soldier, well rated but considered very immature, believe this fable? In any case, he trained his colleague Adélard. Their lawyers point out a glaring lack of supervision, especially after the recruitment fever which followed the broadcast of the series “The Bureau of Legends”… In Paris, the DGSE has launched an internal investigation. Dagomar and Adélard were finally arrested by the police, hiding out in the Clio de Créteil, at the foot of Marie-Hélène Dini’s building…
