“All bodies can do anything”. Classical musician and apneist, BJ Griffin regrets the low number of black and corpulent people in these disciplines. For Brut, he tells how diving and music are closely linked.

“Anyone can do anything, especially black and overweight bodies.” Freediving is BJ Griffin’s way of gaining mental strength and peace of mind. The American musician, however, regrets that there is not more diversity among freedivers.

Water has a therapeutic dimension for BJ Griffin: “Dive in and connect that experience to my music has done me a world of good, the two complement each other perfectly.”

Since then, he has created his own association, Dive for Peace, which encourages everyone to take the plunge.
