On Friday, June 24, the Supreme Court decided to put an end to Roe v. Wave, which authorized the use of abortion since 1973 in the United States. From now on, each American state is free to choose, or not, if it agrees to authorize abortion on its territory.
“I had just discovered a lot of mental illnesses and childhood traumas that I needed to work on and I realized that doing this with a young child would be very hard for me”says Brooke.
After the decision of the American Supreme Court concerning the right to abortion, many people, including women who have already had abortions, are trying to explain why this right is fundamental.
“Having an abortion and living this experience pushed me to join the movement for reproductive rights, because I want to bring the solidarity and the support that I would have liked to have had”explains Sarah.
