“As we are used to saying, the two of us are a fusion, a complementarity”. Brut followed the twin brothers Cédric Tchinan and Franc Ezan on the occasion of their exhibition “Babi is sweet” at the 193 Gallery in Paris.
“We grew up in a rather atypical and unusual environment that is the orphanage. We find our experience in our work and also in that of Franck who speaks of identity, of difference”.
From March 22, 2022 to May 28, Cédric Tchinan and Franc Ezan, twin brothers and visual artists were at the 193 Gallery in Paris on the occasion of their exhibition “Babi is sweet”.
“Since Côte d’Ivoire we have always been together. The more we are together, the more strength there is”. Originally from Côte d’Ivoire, this is the first time that the two artists have exhibited their works in a French gallery.
Although complementary, they explain how their creations remain different. “Everyone has their own writing. Our writings come together a bit, but there are differences. And there are a lot of similarities!”
