On September 9, Morocco was hit by a violent 6.8 magnitude earthquake. More than 2,800 deaths have been recorded. In small towns, solidarity is organized to help the victims.

These people lived in extremely isolated villages, more than 4 hours from Marrakech. Their house collapsed, many victims were reported, and those who survived never saw the rescue operations. “There’s no one who brought them food or anything, so we’re going to give them everything we have in the trunk”, explains one person. In these most affected areas, a food distribution was organized to help the victims who lost everything.
