[VIDÉO] See a young Quebec singer charm the coaches of “The Voice Kids”, in France, with a cover of Celine Dion

The young Quebecer Jade Mathieu blew the plateau of The Voice Kidsin France with his interpretation ofAll By Myself. The blind audition of the 14-year-old singer rotated the red armchairs of the four coaches, Patrick Fiori, Kendji Girac, Nolwenn Leroy and Slimane.

“Singing, at home, is a gift from heaven”, dropped Nolwenn Leroy, at the end of Jade Mathieu’s performance.

At his side, Kendji Girac announced that he was “breath-taken” by the voice and vocal power of the young woman from Longueuil.

Jade Mathieu finally joined Slimane’s team. She will face the next stage of the competition in August.

“I am delighted and honored to have been approached by The Voice Kids France. Participating in this show has always been my dream, that of sharing my voice and my passion for music. I look forward to this incredible adventure and the opportunity to learn and grow as an artist,” said Jade Mathieu in a press release.

Accustomed to the stage, the young singer participated in various competitions in Quebec, including the Petit festival de la chanson de Granby and Le tremplin de Dégelis. She had tried her luck The Junior Voicer, without however being retained.
