The judicial center devoted to cold cases, unsolved cases, opened seven judicial inquiries sometimes following the trail of repeat offenders. Thereby, Nordahl Lelandais sentenced for the murders of little Maëlys and Arthur Noyer, could be a suspect in the investigation into the disappearance of Loïc Guérin.
Nordahl Lelandais, already sentenced for the murder of Arthur Noyer and little Maëlys last February, is now interested in justice in a disappearance. An anonymous letter implicates him at the heart of a new affair. The recipient of the anonymous letter is Bernard Valezy, president of an association for relatives of the disappeared. The letter will attract his attention with details unknown to the general public. “For the first time, we received a piece of writing making a link between the activity of Nordahl Lelandais and his dogs, and the disappearance of a person”he describes.
The author of the letter introduces himself as a friend of Nordahl Lelandais. In 2012, they used to walk their dogs together in the Chartreuse forest. One September afternoon, while they were driving, a man “weird” stands before them on the road. Nordahl Lelandais insults him then unleashes his three dogs in pursuit. The anonymous witness writes that he never saw the man again. On October 13, 2012, a body was discovered at the foot of a cliff. This is Loïc Guérin, 43, autistic. The investigation concluded that there was an accident. But this letter could change things given troubling elements.
