This Wednesday, October 12, the arenas of Nîmes welcomed Kylian Mbappé for his association Inspired By KM. The goal: to allow children from working-class backgrounds to emancipate themselves and open up to different activities. “The aim of the association is to accompany us until we enter adult life, into working life. On several levels, on the school level, but also on the educational, sporting and cultural level”, details Yagaré, a young member of the association.
On the program: handball, archery, but also meeting with the footballer, where young people could ask their own questions. “What is your next dream? A question from the lady who is there. – My next dream would be to win a second consecutive World Cup”, replies the PSG player. Other guests were also there, such as sportswoman Clarisse Agbegnenou, humorist Booder, and comedian Jamel Debbouze. “I find it extraordinary to have been able to bring together so many people, that there are so many families, so many children, that we come to celebrate the associations, it’s great to have the opportunity to support these people”, explains Jamel Debbouze
The Parisian player’s mother, Fayza Lamari, also came. “When he is world champion, as a former sportswoman, I am indeed happy, but where I am most proud is of the man he has become. (…) He still has time to become a man, but today, yes, I am proud of him, of course”, she thinks.
