Julien Bayou, former national secretary of EELV, is accused of psychological violence by his ex-girlfriend. The charges had been revealed by Sandrine Rousseau. Marie Dosé, lawyer for Julien Bayou, spoke on the subject.
“Julien Bayou observes with bitterness and anger the instrumentalization of the just fight against sexual and gender-based violence for political purposes.” Marie Dosé, lawyer for Julien Bayou, spoke about the case surrounding the former national secretary of EELV. His ex-girlfriend accused him of emotional abuse. Information that was revealed by MP Sandrine Rousseau, also a member of EELV, during the program C à Vous on France 5.
“EELV’s sexual and gender-based violence investigation unit has self-seized following the email sent by his ex-companion”, explains the lawyer. The email contained the first elements of accusations against Julien Bayou. “We don’t know anything about the progress of this investigation or even if it has started.”, assures Marie Dosé.
“This vulgar unpacking is unworthy of a society as advanced as ours“, thinks the lawyer. “Everyone knows that the congress of ecologists is being held at the end of the year, political ambition cannot justify all the crusades”, she concludes.
