Back with his film “Irréductible” currently in the cinema, Jérôme Commandeur looks back on 3 memories that marked his career.
Jérôme Commandeur is a French comedian, actor and director. On the occasion of the release of his latest film “Irréductible”, in theaters since January 19, 2022, he looks back on 3 memories of his career.
Filming in Sweden with his team, Jérôme Commandeur explains that he took “cane strokes by female elderly people”.
“We arrived at a time when when we put on a mask, we took a cane. It’s amazing, because they weren’t putting on masks at all, they were like, ‘No, you can’t tell people to put on this or that.’”
The actor also returns to the mystery of the “autograph books” lost. While he thought his mother had thrown away his notebooks which he held so dear, he explains that he found them almost 30 years later.
But the actor’s debut also marked his career. “I passed a white square casting. I remember it very well. I did what I had to do, my little performance, and the director said to me: ‘listen, it doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t make any sense’”.
