Raw. followed the Marseille rapper TK on the occasion of the release of his second album, Album la fête. Spotted by Jul, the musician takes us on a tour of what is for him “the most beautiful city in France”.
Marseille is a city anchored in its DNA. ”It makes me TK, in my way of being, of speaking, in my mindset”. To maintain his anonymity, the rapper chose to use a mask, which he wears on each outing. “I like to be quiet too much. However, there are other drawbacks. Sometimes people say, “Wesh, is he starring?”.
The rapper explains that he publishes Snapchat and other videos, without a special communication plan but rather “spontaneously and naturally”. “If there are days when I don’t feel like snapping, I won’t. It’s always nice to see people happy to see me”. In the streets of Marseille, TK also introduces us to his manager Raouf and his lawyer Big Y.
