She was the guest of “L’Evénement” on France 2 on Thursday.
In the public debate, Valérie Hayer regrets “lots of caricatures in recent weeks”. If the Renaissance list wins the European elections, its head of the list assures it: “I would not want to pit the agricultural world and the environment against each other”. Guest of “L’Evénement” on France 2, the MP admitted to having voted for both the Green Pact and the Common Agricultural Policy. “What I hear from agricultural anger is more simplification and better income”added Valérie Hayer, who promises to want “bringing a European Egalim to a European scale”. She also stressed that the ecological transition would be a “issue of (his) mandate”. “To finance it, I charge those who do not pay their fair share of taxes, the big polluters, the digital giants”promised Valérie Hayer.
