An “abandoned territory”
Here, drug addicts are sometimes well integrated into society, because hard drugs circulate easily, making their use commonplace. They also occupy a significant place in judicial activity. The prosecutor of Bar-le-Duc, Sofian Saboulard, discovered campaigns poisoned by drugs, in particular cheap heroin, and organized crime coming from Metz and Nancy.
According to him, it is a “territory with a somewhat abandoned youth“, of the “difficulties in accessing transport and employment“, and heroin, financially accessible, seems to be present in all municipalities.
