(SPECIAL SUBJECT / FRANCE 2)

Psychoanalyst Gérard Miller is accused of rape or sexual assault by several women. Thanks to numerous cross-checks, 80 testimonies from collaborators, the diary of a complainant, unpublished images of drawings restoring the alleged facts, “Special Envoy” investigated what could be compared to a recurring process.

For a month, several women have accused the famous psychoanalyst Gérard Miller of rape or sexual assault. One of them, Charlotte, was a minor at the time of the facts she denounces, a little over twenty years ago. “Special Envoy” accompanied her to the police station, she is the first alleged victim to file a complaint and the facts she says she experienced would not be time-barred.

Romane was, for her part, a student and was allegedly attacked after obtaining an interview with the famous columnist. They describe a meeting at the home of Gérard Miller, a blackout, the man who allegedly sexually assaulted them, the difficulty in realizing what would have happened to them, and in understanding how they would have found themselves in this situation, suspecting him of have been drugged.

A man “who was shopping” on the set of “We tried everything”?

Thanks to numerous cross-checks, 80 testimonies from collaborators, the diary of a complainant, unpublished images of drawings restoring the alleged facts, “Special Envoy” investigated what could be compared to a recurring process. The meeting, between Gérard Miller and certain alleged victims, would have occurred on the set of the show “On a tout avoir”, broadcast in the early 2000s. Some describe a “man who was doing his shopping, looking for very young girls, sometimes minors”.

Contacted by “Special Envoy”, the psychoanalyst refutes all these accusations, claims to be “certain of not having committed any offence” and said to himself “ready to respond to each of the alleged facts, but […] now wish to book [sa] word to the judicial institution”.

A report by Chloé Vienne and Lucie Rémy for Hikari, in partnership with the editorial staff of “Elle” magazine, broadcast in “Envoyé Spécial” on February 29, 2024.
