Tom Cruise has accepted the mission. The American actor did indeed appear during the closing ceremony, confirming a rumor that had been going around for several days. The lead actor in the films Mission: Impossible first abseiled down (and live) from the roof of the Stade de France. Tom Cruise has spent several days in Paris since the start of the Olympics. He has been spotted several times in the stands, particularly during the gymnastics and swimming events. The actor’s possible presence at this ceremony had been denounced in advance by Unadfi, an association defending victims of sects, which pointed out “a bad message” with the highlighting of a figure of Scientology.
