On the poster for the latest Spider-Man, American actress Zendaya has agreed to answer Brut’s questions. She notably confided in what she considers to be the best of all superpowers: empathy. “I find that it is a crucial human faculty, which we sometimes miss: understanding other humans and their lives, projecting oneself into a destiny other than ours“, she believes. In Spiderman: No Way Home, Zendaya plays MJ, Peter Parker’s sidekick and brings a feminist touch to the character.
It is from her that Zendaya draws her inspiration to embody powerful female characters. “I would say that my heroines are the women of my family, my older sisters, my mother, my grandmothers and even my grand nieces“, says the actress.
