Giving Emmanuel Macron five more years is five years too many, five years without changing anything.”

The candidate reacted in particular to the statement of the President of the Republic, who lambasted, during his interview broadcast the day before on TF1, Valérie Pécresse’s ambition to cut 150,000 civil servant positions. In front of “a wall of debt”, the president of the Ile-de-France region, assured that in order to “Lower the charges on salaries, we have to find the money. We will only find it if we spend better and if we remove a good part of this layer of bureaucracy that we have put everywhere.”

“We are wasting money”, she hammered, denouncing “700 agencies and 383 State Theodule committees …” It thus offers “do not replace one in three retirements”, and to create “50,000 more civil servant posts” in “three missions”: “protect, educate, heal.
