VIDEO. Discover Angèle and Damso perform “Démons” live orchestrally in the Chapel of the Museum of Fine Arts

How do I kill my demons?“, asks Angèle in the haunting chorus of her latest single, demons, on which the rapper Damso gives him the reply, taking care not to spoil the party: “I feat with Angèle, no swear words, radio, we have to go / Instead of a “nice your” no no I will say: great good for them”.

Angèle and Damso, it’s a long story since he had invited her to do the first parts of his tour in 2017, when it was not yet launched, opening the doors to an audience known to be difficult to to conquer. While Angèle was featuring on Silence, excerpt from the album Lithopedion (2018) by Damso, she returned the favor by inviting him to demons, excerpt from his new album ninety-five released in december. The duo works wonderfully and produces a hit appreciated by fans of rap and variety, already certified gold single.

After the clip released in December, the two Belgian artists extend the pleasure with an orchestral version unveiled at 6 p.m. this Tuesday, March 1, accompanied by a video filmed in a sequence shot in an astonishing setting, that of the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins, at the Museum of Fine Arts (Paris).

When Angèle came to pick us up to do a live session of demonswe had two obsessions in mind: to find a grandiose place, which highlights this orchestral version, and to make the famous demons appear…“, explain the persons in charge of the Blogothèque who produced this video.

The Chapelle des Beaux-Arts was perfect, full of majestic and disturbing statues and frescoes, as if demons and angels were frozen in combat around Angèle and Damso.
