Known for his songs that mix three dialects: French, Bambara and Lingala, Chily is back with his new album “Van Bommel”. The rapper is inspired by the Dutch football player of the same name, having evolved in clubs like FC Barcelona or Bayern Munich. Brut found him on the set of his Pump L Up clip with Guy2bezbar and during his photo shoot for his cover with Misterfifou.
If Chily decided to take inspiration from the player Van Bommel, it is above all because he noticed similarities between him and the sportsman. “Van Bommel, he’s a bit like those surly players, you know, always borderline foul, borderline red card, and I consider myself to be that kind of player in everyday life ”says the young rapper.
On the photo shoot of his cover, his photographer Fifou underlines the professionalism and the naturalness of the singer. “He has a natural attitude, but above all, he is proactive, which means that when I shoot with him, he does a lot of different gestures, he is ultra charismatic and above all, he knows what he wants. ”.
