“Revality is not to oppose dream and reality.” Rêvalité is the name chosen by Matthieu Chedid for his new album. Brut followed his big comeback on stage, backstage at his concert at the Folies Bergère.
“We tend to think that dreams and reality are two different things, but I am convinced that they are the same thing. When you are an artist, it is obvious. You tend to live your dreams and dream your life”.
On May 21, 2022, singer Matthieu Chedid was back on stage for a concert at the Folies Bergère in Paris. For the artist, “good concerts are like a great meeting, it’s something that strikes your heart”.
“We think that everything is very natural, fluid, which it is, but it requires a score that is polished enough for it to seem very simple, for it to take people on a journey”says the singer.
“After 15, 20 shows, things start to have a kind of mechanics, it leaves a lot of freedom.”
“It’s moments of life. It’s not trivial, it’s not just entertainment”, explains Matthieu Chedid.
