An extremely disturbing video circulated on social networks on Wednesday, in which we see a man from Sept-Îles, on the North Shore, crushing a baby moose, driving his full-size pickup truck, while filming the scene.
According to information obtained by TVA Nouvelles, the video was shot in the Moisie sector, on boulevard des Forges.
The vehicle literally crashes into two animals that are on the side of the road, can we see in the images.
Based on the man’s words, both animals were run over by his vehicle.
The body of one of the two calves is visible in the footage after the man backed up, during which the animal was crushed a second time.

The individual behaves dangerously and makes a connection between the act he is committing and the Aboriginal people.
At the end of the day, Wednesday, the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks confirmed that wildlife protection officers went to the scene along with officers from the Sûreté du Québec.
A suspect has been questioned and a charge for killing big game with a vehicle could be filed.

The video, which was first posted on Snapchat, was later relayed on Facebook and caused a huge reaction.
Citizens of Sept-Îles and Maliotenam said they were amazed by this attitude, some denouncing a case of animal cruelty and the racism of the comments made.
