*Warning: Video footage may shock some people
The first video images shot immediately after the assassination of mafioso Francesco Del BalsoMonday in Dorval, testify to the violence of the scene which occurred in broad daylight in front of a gymnasium open to the public.

An extract of a few seconds shot by a witness, obtained by Le Journal, shows that windows in the portico of the establishment were completely shattered by the bullets of the shooter.
The floor at the entrance to the Monster Gym, where several clients were training at the same time, is littered with shards of glass.
Miraculously, no one other than Del Balso, 53, was hit. An employee who confided in the Journal said that she heard “between six to eight shots”.
We see on the video the career criminal face against the ground, while curious people observe the scene. A police officer on the spot calmly works to secure the crime scene, noting an obvious death.

Recall that Francesco “Chit” Del Balso was considered by the police as the one who would have ordered the failed murder attempt against the mafia leader Leonardo Rizzuto, last March.
Since then, his days were numbered and he had tried unsuccessfully to flee the country, before being arrested at the airport. He had hired security personnel and regularly wore a bulletproof vest.
