The Sziget Festival was from August 10 to 15, 2022. And this year again, Kevin, originally from France, came to lend a hand to the staff in one of the official Festival campsites. Brut spent a day with him.
For the fourth time, Kevin, straight from Toulouse, traveled to Budapest in Hungary to participate in the Sziget Festival. This year, he is taking part in the event as a volunteer for the Superstar campsite. His role ? Welcome festival-goers with joy and good humor and accompany them to their tent.
The Sziget Festival in Budapest is one of the biggest European festivals. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people come to Hungary to take part in the event. For this edition, Kevin, a young man from Toulouse, decided to take part in the Festival as a volunteer for the Superstar campsite. He is in charge of welcoming festival-goers, in pairs with another Hungarian volunteer.
“This is the fourth edition. Previously, I was in the staff of Sziget, and this year, I said to myself, come on, why not go on the voluntary part, which is just as nice to do.“Today, Kevin is expecting around 5,000 people at the campsite. “I think there will be around forty nationalities represented. A majority of Dutch, some French”, explains the young man.
