A wind of nostalgia has been blowing across the French audiovisual landscape for several years.
Secret Story, Temptation Island, star Academy… It must be said that Internet users and viewers seem over the moon to rediscover cult programs long put aside by television channels.
The proof with the success of the star Academy the last bonus of which last Friday, November 10, was viewed live by no less than 3.23 million fans, representing a market share of 16.6%. A revival expected by viewers despite the absence of all the teachers from previous seasons. Indeed, none are in the cast of the new edition… And especially not Raphaëlle Ricc i, the former uncompromising stage expression teacher from the first seasons.
And for good reason, the one that the students affectionately nicknamed “Raphie” revealed to have been the target of threats following her participation in the telecrochet.
“For people, as I tell my students today, I was a very, very mean teacher. I received threats. Over the years, this show had grown so much, in the media, that It was super complicated to manage.”she confided to Télé-Loisirs.
A pressure which finally convinced the professor to leave the program at the end of season 7: “I said that it was not possible for me to envisage that people might want to kill me. They certainly would not have carried out the act but when the production decides to put bodyguards on you available 24 hours a day, it must have been serious. And still the production hadn’t given me all the details. That was the worst part of the show.”

His new life
The former stage expression teacher is now flourishing thanks to her sophrology practice located in Seine-et-Marne. The one who offers courses in “management of stress and emotions”is also a happily married woman to the extent that, via her Instagram account, the latter regularly shares photos of her other half with whom she has been for 12 years.
