Robert Charlebois suffered illness during rehearsals for a show he was to give Thursday evening in Joliette. The concert is canceled and the situation seems to be “under control” for the 79-year-old singer-songwriter.
“Perhaps you knew between the branches, Robert Charlebois was the victim of illness preventing him from performing this evening (Thursday May 9). Luckily, we are informed that the situation seems to be under control for him,” indicates the Desjardins Cultural Center in Joliette in a Facebook post Thursday morning.
The concert planned in the hall will therefore not take place. Very little is currently known about the nature of the artist’s discomfort.
