victim of an illness, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau reveals having suffered after-effects

A difficult period… Remember, two years ago, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau disappeared from the air due to health reasons. And for good reason, the presenter of the 1 p.m. news on TF1 had to be absent for several months due to a very rare eye infection, amoebic keratitis.

An illness which kept the journalist off the air for more than 5 months… And upon her return in May 2022, the latter had to manage to practice her profession differently. “When I started coming back to the set to do tests and to test my eye, […] I could only tolerate 30% of the lights on set. There, I took a little blow to the head, saying to myself:“Will I make it? Will it come back? Will I endure it again?”she explained in We’re doing TV again in June. And to add: “Today, I am at 80%.”

A difficult period to which Marie-Sophie Lacarrau recently returned. This Friday, December 22, 2023, Thomas Isle indeed received the latter in Culture Media (Europe 1). An appearance on the air during which the main interested party gave news of her health while reflecting on this difficult period. Questioned on this subject, the latter indeed replied: “I was absent in 2022 for five months… Five months on air which were very complicated. I’m doing very well, so thank you already for checking in on me, it touches me deeply. My eye is fine, it’s fragile “.

If today Marie-Sophie Lacarrau is doing better, the latter has always even revealed that she always has lighting “adapted” on the set of TF1 news. And for good reason, since his infection, his eye has become “a little intolerant”she indicated.
