Vianney harassed by Michèle Torr? “I love everything about him.”

Every day of the week, the team of Telematin welcomes a personality on its set. This Wednesday, February 21, 2024, it was the turn of Michele Torr

to make an appearance on France2. The opportunity for the singer to look back on her beginnings in the music industry and her meeting with one of her idols: Johnny Hallyday.

“I met Johnny in 1964”, she remembered. At the time, the interpreter ofTake me dancing tonight was invited “by Mr. Meyerstein, the big boss of Philips, at the Union gala”. “Johnny was doing a horse riding act. I was a fan of him like all young girls. He was so beautiful”she confided with a smile on her lips.

And to continue: “Mr. Meyerstein comes to pick me up in a Rolls-Royce, I come down from my six floors, from my little maid’s room, dressed in a dress lent by designers etc. And he introduces me to Johnny who was in the same record company. I remember his glass of whiskey, he passed it to me and I drank some of his whiskey… the fan.”

“I love everything about him.”

As a young talent, Michèle Torr almost shared the microphone with the Taulier. Unfortunately, the project never saw the light of day. “JI went to see him at the Olympia and the idea was gone, but I would have loved it”, she admitted. If the opportunity to sing with Johnny passed under his nose, Michèle Torr now hopes to collaborate with other artists.

Vianney is one of his favorites. “I don’tdon’t even dare say it anymore becausehe will think that I am harassing him. I love his writing, his tone, I love everything about him and I love the man I discovered in A Sunday in the Country with Frédérique Lopez. I knew the artist, his talent, but the man is magnificent.” Hoping that the main party responds to this call!
