Véronique Genest denies needing 10,000 euros: she explains herself after the controversy over her lifestyle

For years, Véronique Genest made the best hours of TF1 with her cult series, Julie Lescaut. A period during which she does not hide having earned a lot of money even if, with the vagaries of life and the profession, she still needs today a fairly substantial lifestyle. As she recently said in an interview with Paris here needing 10,000 euros a month, she has since denied.

As often on Twitter, the controversy quickly escalated after the articles relating to the financial needs of Véronique Genest. But the actress, now 66, wanted to set the record straight. On his account, responding to a publication by The voice of the Northshe writes : “That [avoir besoin de 10 000 euros, ndlr], unfortunately it was more than 6 months ago when my pretty mom was still living and I had to pay for her so-called top-of-the-range EHPAD… named ORPEA.“The actress’s mother actually died last February and, a few months later, she attacked the nursing home in which she lived – the group was at the heart of a recent scandal -, laying charges negligence. During his interview with Paris here, she specified paying between 5000 and 6000 euros per month for the establishment of her mother. We better understand his (former) needs for money.

Véronique Genest no longer having her mother in charge, so she took the trouble to deny this controversial sum of 10,000 euros. “I would dream of having to win all this again, it would mean that she is still there. Move on, there’s nothing left to see“, replied the actress with her usual outspokenness.
