(Montreal) The Louis-Hippolyte-Lafontaine tunnel was partially closed on Friday evening due to a vehicle on fire.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. in the southbound tunnel. No one was injured, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesman Nicolas Scholtus.
The Ministry of Transport specifies on Twitter that five lanes out of six are closed in the tunnel which has three lanes in each direction and connects Montreal to the south shore.
The incident could cause congestion on Highway 25. The SQ recommends avoiding the area.
