A vehicle exploded Wednesday while crossing the bridge that connects Canada and the United States near Niagara Falls. The FBI says it is investigating the explosion, calling the situation "very fluid."

In a statement posted online, the FBI says its Buffalo office is "currently investigating a vehicle explosion at the Rainbow Bridge, a U.S.-Canada border crossing at Niagara Falls."

“The situation is very fluid,” adds the organization.
