Vegas Golden Knights | Goaltender Adin Hill gets the start against the Stars

The Vegas Golden Knights have made a goalie change, and Adin Hill will get his first start of the current Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight in Game 5 against the Dallas Stars.

Logan Thompson had been the starting goalie for the first four games of this series, which is tied 2-2.

The two goaltenders shared the work in front of the Golden Knights net during the final portion of the regular season.

Thompson has a .921 save percentage in this series and a 2.35 goals-against average so far. He notably made a career-high 43 saves in a 4-3 overtime loss Saturday night.

Hill was one of the architects of the Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup victory last season. He began the spring tournament in a backup goalie role, but after Laurent Brossoit was injured in the second round, Hill earned the trust of his head coach and compiled an 11-4 record with a save percentage of .932 and a goals against average of 2.17.

Hill was 19-12-2 with a .909 save percentage and 2.71 GAA in the regular season.
