A 19-year-old young man driving a stolen vehicle escaped from the police who asked him to stop Thursday evening, in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges sector, in Montérégie.
The event took place around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 20 East, near the municipality of Les Cèdres. He was finally arrested a few meters away.
The suspect will appear in the coming days and is being held, confirmed a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec. He will face several counts, including dangerous driving and possession of stolen equipment.
