Tower will close in April. For real. TVA has decided to disconnect its daily talk show run by Gildor Roy.
This news comes a week after the announcement of the departure of another headliner of the network, Marie-Claude Barrette, whose morning show will also disappear from the airwaves in the spring.
Through a press release, the channel explains that it intends to revise its programming next fall. Broadcast Monday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., after Indefensible, Tower has been hosted since September by Gildor Roy. Patrick Huard was in charge during the first two seasons. Hélène Bourgeois-Leclerc and Alexandre Barrette have also been participating in the television show since the fall.
Original idea by Quebecor Content and produced in collaboration with Trio Orange, Tower offers intimate interviews in a loft setting.
