The threat of the new Omicron variant worries more and more, especially at the economic level as it gradually resumed.
All the lights were finally on green. After a year wasted by the covid-19, activities such as tourism, and even, the economy in general is recovering. However, the Omicron variant once again poses a threat to the global economy. Some countries such as Japan or Australia have already closed their borders to counter this new change. A sword of Damocles seems to have been placed over the countries.
The world of tourism is on the alert because of the countries closing their borders. “Another cancellation of three people in Lyon on Morocco”, coward annoyed a tour operator. The latter has recorded 20% cancellation in total over the last few days. In addition, reservations are also plummeting for fear of having to cancel at the last moment because of the variant. If the time is not for panic for now, the threat remains nonetheless real.
