The Trail Aventure in the heart of the largest canyon in Europe in partnership with France Bleu Provence.
An event rich in thrills
The Var Verdon Canyon Challenge takes place in the center of a territory unique in the world, in the heart of the Verdon Regional Natural Park and the Haute Provence geological reserve. This trail is located on the Community of Communes of the Lakes and Gorges of the Verdon (it passes through the departments of 83 and 04). This “mythical” race is the first event of this type to have seen the light of day on French territory in 1992. Over the kilometers, the participants discover the wild and harsh beauty of the Verdon landscapes (Sentier Blanc Martel, Grand Margès, Cirque de Vaumale), making this event a real human adventure and one of the most demanding of French trails.
Each year there are more than 900 runners (women and men), all looking for personal challenges: come and brave the technical and picturesque trails of the Gorges du Verdon
An event carrying values and exceptional sponsors.
Solidarity : a team of more than 130 dedicated volunteers. Eco responsibility : the trail is part of a philosophy of communion and respect for the environment. Friendship & Fairplay : The VVCC has always conveyed within its organization, the fundamental rules of life, humility, respect and sharing
