Vanessa Paradis: In a cape and tank top, she braves the cold for Chanel

In the cinema and in the theater, Vanessa Paradis connects the roles! In fashion, she has been the ambassador of Chanel for 30 years. The actress and singer rediscovered the costume on Tuesday afternoon, braving the cold in a cape and tank top to attend the new fashion show of the prestigious house …

The show must go on for the Fashion planet, bereaved by the death of Virgil Abloh (who died Sunday, November 28 of a cardiac angiosarcoma)! Chanel tried to put a smile on her face on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, the date of a new parade. The brand and its artistic director Virginie Viard presented their Métiers d’Art 2021-2022 collection (or pre-fall 2022-2023 collection). The event took place at 19M, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The building of more than 25,000 square meters brings together several fashion craft trades and suppliers of major houses, including Chanel.

The complex was inaugurated in October 2019 and therefore welcomed the star guests of the Métiers d’Art show, led by Vanessa Paradis! Dressed in a tank top and a woolen fringed cape (from Chanel’s cruise 2022 collection and sold respectively for 3,100 and 4,500 euros), the heroine of the play Mom (performing at the Edouard VII theater in Paris) braved the cold in his off-season outfit to discover the new Chanel collection. Her first-row neighbor was producer Sébastien Tellier, who came accompanied by his wife Amandine de la Richardière.

Not far from them, actress Lucy Boynton, Sofia Coppola, Marine Vacth, Elsa Zylberstein and Inès de la Fressange also closely followed the Chanel Métiers d’Art show. The latter allowed her Instagram followers to follow the show, of which she shared her favorite looks in her story of the day.

She also showed self-mockery by writing: “When you go to a parade & pretend you’re not cold …“.
