Presidential: “There is a hidden agenda of Mr. Macron if he were re-elected”
“Normally France should send the European Commission the budgetary elements for the years to come”, explained Xavier Bertrand. According to him, if it was postponed, “it’s because there is an election” presidential, and “the bad news”it’s “for after” this ballot. For President LR Hauts-de-France, “we are not told everything, there is a hidden agenda of Mr. Macron if he were re-elected”.
To hear it, Emmanuel Macron “prepare budgets that will be tough with necessarily a drastic drop in spending and especially tax increases”which is not provided for in the program of the presidential candidate. “If they have nothing to hide, let them present the elements and don’t tell Brussels we will send them to you, but after the presidential election”he insisted.
“It’s not over for the right”, assures Xavier Bertrand
In the latest wave of the barometer which measures for franceinfo and Le Parisien/Today in France the evolution of opinion from day to day until the first round of the presidential election, the candidate Les Républicains (LR) is given fifth, with 9.5% of the voting intentions. This is its lowest level since the start of this barometer.
But for Xavier Bertrand, LR president of Hauts-de-France, who relies on his election in 2015 despite 16 points behind (in the first round) on Marine Le Pen, the game is not lost for Valérie Pécresse.
