Increased police interventions will take place across Quebec during the holiday season, particularly in restaurants and bars. The Legault government wishes to ensure that the measures related to the vaccination passport are respected.
“The next few weeks will be conducive to festive gatherings; I therefore invite us to take advantage of this period to have a good time with our loved ones and our colleagues while respecting the rules of public health ”, declared in a press release the Minister of Public Security Geneviève Guilbault.
The interventions will take place mainly on December 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18.
The vaccination passport allows people 13 years of age or over who are adequately protected or who have a recognized exemption to access certain places, such as restaurants and bars, and to practice certain activities.
