“Vaccination is progress”, insists Minister of Health Aurélien Rousseau

“I want to show that vaccination is progress”insists Tuesday, October 3 on France Inter Aurélien Rousseau, Minister of Health, while a vaccination campaign was launched on Monday intended “to populations at risk”. This new campaign was initially scheduled to begin on October 17, but faced with the “real epidemic resumption”the government decided to bring it forward by two weeks.

Aurélien Rousseau highlights the need to be vaccinated, especially since “the vaccine matches the strain [de variant] very largely dominant today.” “We have a collective responsibility towards vulnerable people”he insists.

If the minister does not give “quantified objective” in terms of vaccination rates for this new campaign, he intends to convince the most reluctant. He recalls that we now have “three years behind us” And “We know that there are no side effects.” “We have a more effective vaccine than last year”, adds Aurélien Rousseau. He hopes to attend a “dynamic” with the vaccination campaigns launched against “the papillomavirus, against bronchiolitis, against the flu or against Covid”.
