This is an interview recorded in 2016, on Howard Stern’s microphone, and which resurfaced today as several of P. Diddy’s properties were searched by federal agents.
The singer of Yeah! lived with the rapper when he was just 14, after former Epic Records CEO LA Reid suggested it would help the young boy “see the lifestyle.”
“I had the opportunity to see some things…I don’t know if I could indulge in that and even understand what I was seeing,” Usher said at the time.
When the host asked him if the rapper’s house was “filled with girls and non-stop orgies”, Usher replied: “Not really… It was pretty crazy.” It was crazy. There were some very curious things happening and I didn’t necessarily understand them. »

P. Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by federal agents on Tuesday, March 26. This police raid is part of an ongoing investigation into sex trafficking of which the rapper is accused. In November 2023, Sean Combs was accused by his ex-girlfriend Cassie of rape and abuse during their relationship. He denied these allegations. Since then, he has been accused of four other sexual assaults and “sex trafficking”.
“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the horrible things that are alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and the truth,” he wrote on social media in December 2023.
Concerning the muscular interventions at the musician’s homes, his lawyer published a press release on March 26 in which he denounced a “blatant excessive use of armed force”.
